FUN COMPETITION FOR ALL SOCIAL DANCERS

This is a fun competition for all social salsa and bachata dancers. There is no need for hours of training. No professionals are allowed.
We will have three different dances: line salsa, Cuban salsa, and bachata. If you like to participate in several dance styles, you can do more than one.

THE JUDGES WILL LOOK AT THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA
1. Connexion
2. Timing/musicality
3. Variations & complexity of the dance
The judges will award points from 1 to 10 in each category, and the total points earned by each participant will determine their results.

RULES & PROGRAM
- All dancers have to be ready at 20.30 at the Main Hall
Sanfunnsalen.
- Only for social dancers & dance students (Instructors are not allowed).
- There will be several rounds for each category, and in each round, we will change partners during the dance.
- Any dancer can participate in different categories.

QUALIFICATION
- The judges will judge individually in the qualifying rounds.
- The judges will pick three followers and three leaders from each dance style to go to the final.
- Each song will be played for 3 minutes.

FINAL ROUND
- The finalists will dance for 3 minutes, changing couples during the song.
- The judges will judge the dancers individually in the final.
- The judges will pick 3rd, 2nd, and 1st places, for both followers and leaders.
