Javier Jiménez

Javier Jimenez was born in Havana, Cuba. He started his dance career at the age of twelve at the art school in the city of Cienfuegos, Cuba. In 2003 he graduated as a professional dancer of contemporary dance and folklore at The National Art School (ENA) in Havana. Once finished his studies he joined the dance group Yoldance, this company made several tours in Germany with the musical Viva Cuba! After some years dancing in Cuba he packed his luggage and moved to Salamanca, Spain. Here he is working as an instructor of Latin dances. Javier is also choreographer and a dancer in the famous dance group Fusion Latina. This group has twice won the Spanish Bachata Master Team and runners-up in the World Bachata Masters Teams. Javier is well known to bring joy and energy into his classes, but at the same time making it easy for the student to understand the techniques and moves.

Super Mario

For many years now, Super Mario has been a household name on the international Salsa scene, recognized and respected by students and fellow professionals for his amazing lead, unlimited database of fantastic moves/combinations and his teaching ability. His classes and workshops have always been extremely popular both in the UK and in countries as far as Australia, Japan and the USA, specializing on technique but always maintaining an element of fun. Mario specializes in cross-body-lead style, dancing on the 1 or the 2 and focusing mainly on moves and combinations, with special emphasis on leading techniques. He has earned himself the title of Million Moves Man through his ability to create any number of unique combinations, that are led with expertise and are always comfortable to follow. His dancing style is smooth but fast, giving him and his dance partner extra freedom to improvise.

Jennifer Fojaco

Jennifer Fojaco was born in Cienfuegos, Cuba. Since the age of eleven she started her career as a professional dancer in the school of Arts Benny More, in Cienfuegos. In 2003 she graduated as a professional dancer in Musical Shows National Art School (ENA) in Havana. After some years working in different dance groups in Havana, she moved to Spain and joined the company of Adrian and Anita in Barcelona. Here she obtained the third place in the Championship of Spain by groups. After moving to Salamanca she teamed up with the company Fusion Latina. This group has twice won the title Bachata Team Master of Spain and runners-up in the world bachata group championship. In addition to the performing, Jennifer is working as a instructor in ballet, jazz, modern dance and Latin dance. When taking her classes you will notice the quality in here teaching and the way she manage to transmit this to here students.

Jazzy Ruiz

Jazzy started his dance career at the age of 5 at his parents’ dance school in Antigua, Guatemala. He received a broad dance education in jazz, contemporary dance, ballet, break dance, hip hop, Latin jazz, flamenco and other Latin dances such as salsa, mambo, Afro-Cuban and show dance.

Inspired by his artistic heritage, he began his work as an instructor at the age of 15 at his family’s dance school, and also at cultural centers and events. After leaving Guatemala, Jazzy continued his education at «Den Norske Ballethøyskolen» in Oslo and graduated with a Bachelor degree in Performing Arts and Pedagogy. During his studies he went to Cuba where he studied ballet, contemporary and Afro Cuban dances at “Ballet Nacional de Cuba of Alicia Alonso”.

He started his international career as a professional dancer and instructor in 2001, when he was touring Europe, among other places,as a representative for Norway. He started his own dance school in 2002. Jazzy has participated in various TV shows like «So you think you can dance ?» and as a choreographer in «Skal vi danse?» on TV2.

Alex Alberola

Alex Alberola was born in Barcelona, Spain. He is the founder and director of Ballroom Salsa Dance Company since late 2010. In the beginning it was originated as a salsa on1 dance company mixed with ballroom dance, later specializing in bachatango and sensual bachata. Alex has previously dance background as a dancer, trainer and instructor of ballroom dance for many years. During his training as dancer, Alex has received lessons from the most prestigious dancers all around Europe and he has been dancer of the Adrian and Anita Amateur Dance Company and Acento Latino. Today He is travelling around the world at different bachata festival, teaching and giving shows. Alex is know to create a nice atmosphere in his classes, but at the same time keeping the quality of the teaching.

Vyara Klisurska

Vyara is a professional ballroom and salsa dancer, music theatre performer, director and choreographer. Vyara is the winner of Dancing with the Stars season in Vietnam in 2016-2017. In 2018-2019 she completed a contract on board MS Color Fantasy, Norway as a speciality act and ballroom dance captain. She also choreographed for the 2entertain production shows on board Color Fantasy 2019-2020. Over the last 5 years she have been choreographing and performing for TV shows, World Stars Dance Festivals, music theatre shows, tours and music videos and she also has been teaching workshops and dance lessons in Bulgaria, Macedonia, Greece, Croatia, Vietnam, Spain, Norway and Germany.

Luis Vazquez

Luis Vazquez began dancing Salsa in 1992. He was inspired by many movies such as “Lolita’s Way” and the movie “Salsa” but his true inspiration came from his older brother Francisco Vazquez. Francisco introduced him to Salsa in 1992 when Francisco was learning the first salsa steps. Luis and his brothers are considered to be the pioneers of the LA Salsa Style on1. Since then, Luis co-created Salsa Brava Productions, the first ever dance company in Los Angeles and one of the most well known dance companies in the world. In 1994, Salsa Brava dissolves and he began dancing with Melissa Fernandez together creating “Mas Salsa Brava”. Luis’s salsa dance style continues to inspire people to reach and exceed their boundaries. His aura, personality and vibrant energy is tremendously contagious. His creativity in music, costumes, routines and stunts has taken showmanship to the next level. Luis Vazquez is known world wide for having one of the best dance leads and is definitely a Super Social Dancer at the Night Clubs! His instructional dance workshops with Melissa Fernandez are known to be one of the funniest and always jammed packed. Today Luis is living Malmø, Sweden, where he has established his own dance school.

Joao Rocha

Joao Rocha was born in Lisbon, Portugal, where he did a business administration degree. He started dancing kizomba came in 2007, taking the line from his master and friend Kwenda Lima, who told him «Kizomba it’s danced by two people in just one body» this comment changed his view that these days he say «I love this culture more than my own». Having inspiration’s such as Master Petchu, Kwenda Lima and Afrolatin Connection he has developed his own style of kizomba! Joao has been teaching and performing in more than 30 countries including major countries in Europe, USA, Russia, Brasil. He is also organising his own renowned kizomba festival in Lisbon «LIKE Festival» since 2010, Toma-Toma Bratislava with Alvaro Gustavo since 2013 and LIKE London with Mambo City since 2014. Today Joao is living and teaching in Frankfurt, Germany.

Giedre Lapaite

Giedre Lapaite is a Lithuanian girl with ballroom, LA and Cuban salsa background. She tried her first steps of kizomba in Vilnius, Lithuania, got very interested in dance and culture and started to travel to Portugal in order become a good kizomba dancer.
In 2011 she met Joao Rocha, who has given her love to semba and invited her to teach together. In 2012 Giedre deepened her knowledge of Angola’s history and culture with Master Petchu and Vanessa. In the same year she moved to Stockholm, Sweden, started to give regular kizomba, semba classes and organize kizomba events together with Joao Rocha. In 2015 she moved to Frankfurt.
She has already taught in numerous kizomba festivals in Norway, Sweden, Finland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Poland, Belarus, Russia, Germany, Austria, Hungary, Netherlands, United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Canada.

Andy Gonzalo Varona

- He was born in Havana, Cuba and since he was very young he feels inclined to music and dance. His beginnings were in the streets, highlighting his ability in the urban genre, reggaeton.

- In 2007 he began his journey in professional life, being part of the prestigious modern dance company of Cuba, Narciso Medina.

- Then came the great folkloric experience, first with the company Raíces Profundas, then with the Conjunto Folclórico Nacional de Cuba and later with the company Banrrara. Five years of enrichment and training, dancing in the biggest stages of Cuba.

- Since 2014 he is part of the rumba group Osain del Monte.

- In the same year he received the title of First Dancer, the highest evaluation granted by the National Council of Performing Arts of Cuba.

- He was a dancer in the Buena Vista Social Club show, and was able to dance on the biggest stages in Europe, such as the Palais des Congress in Paris, France.

- He arrives in Europe in 2014, and since then has been on the international festival scene, and today is one of the most recognized young male figures.

- He currently lives in Norway, where together with her partner and dancer Yuliet Estrada they are carrying out a project called Bailan2.

Yuliet Estrada Linares

- Yuliet was born in Havana, and dancing has been a big part of her life since she was a child.

- She developed as a dancer in the Conjunto Folclorico de la Universidad de la Habana.

- She has performed with shows and has presented herself in both national and international competitions, such as in 2007 she was the first place in the 1st International Festival of Popular and Ballroom Dances, in Havana.

- He was part of the fusion show of the Laura Alonso's Prodanza Academy of Dance

- In 2008 Yuliet moved to Oslo, Norway where she has worked as a dancer and choreographer ever since.

- She has successfully participated as a dancer and instructor in many national and international festivals.

- I am part of the project Rhythms of the Caribbean with the Norwegian organization Riggsekken, which brings culture and dance to the most remote places in the country.

- In 2019 she decided to join her professional career with dancer Andy Varona, and since then they have taken her work to big international events and festivals. Together they started the Bailan2 Project, which in such a short time has started to have great acceptance in the dance scene in Norway.

Alain Morales

Alain Morales was born in Havanna, Cuba and is a fantastic dancer and instructor. He came to Europe in 2000 with The group Iré Batà and now lives in Italy, but from 2007 he has been working around the scandinavian countries.

Alain is one of the best rumberos in Europe, and his Colombia-shows are spectacular. He was a dancer of the Compañía de danza contemporánea de Narciso Medina.

Alexisstyle Ruiz

Alexis Ruiz started dancing and playing instruments almost before he could walk. Growing up in Antigua, Guatemala, his mother taught him to dance and teach together with her at her school Ritmo Latino. At the age of 12 he started teaching salsa/mambo and a diverse variety of latin dances and latin percussion. He has since then been teaching for over 25 years.

At the age of 17, he moved to Japan where he opened his own dance school and created his own Latin jazz sextet "Foribale". He became an ambassador for Salsa in Japan, and travelled the world representing Japan at different congresses. The name "Alexistyle" was given to him by Albert Torres. Mr. Torres later awarded Alexis with an honorary award for his work in Japan, while teaching and performing at Los Angeles Salsa Congress.

 After 8 years in Japan, he moved to Norway. Here he introduced the musicality of Mambo to the salsa community in Norway, and his concept of Mambo Masterclass was born. Since then he has trained Norwegian champions, taught around the world on elite level, and created a vocabulary and a methodology that is completely unique. He is world famous for his lectures about "Salsa roots" where he dives into the history of both the music and the dance, and also the different musical influences in salsa. 

 In Norway he is known for playing with some of the best salsa bands like Sonora Cimarron, La Descarga, Banakao, Son on Fire, Son Candela and others!
Through his career he has had several dance partners, while also working as a solo artist. Some of his most famous choreographies and shows, has been together with his long-time dance partner Katrin Lerner.

In 2015 he created Norway's first Mambo dance company, Allure Dance company. Alexis focuses on musicality and rhythms, and shows storytelling and traditions in his choreographies. The company is project based, and performers have been varied through its years. He has toured all over Europe with the company.

In 2015 he co-founded the "Nordic Mambo project" together with Konstantin Pinaev (Sweden). Together they had a vision of cooperating between the Nordic Mambo communities. They are both in love with Mambo, and want to share their passion and knowledge with the students. Look out for more projects!

He is currently running his own school together with his wife, A-custica Performing Arts. Only school that teachers only Mambo and Tap dance. He will also be seen in June's jubileum of "Oslo Jazzdansfestival '' together with Iselin, where they will show their piece "Roots intertwined", a rhythmical dive into the latin and american roots of dance and music.

Allure

Allure dance company was founded by Alexis Ruiz in 2015. Allure Dance company is one of the few pure mambo companies of Scandinavia. Alexis focus on musicality and rhythms, and shows storytelling and traditions in his choreographies. The company is project based, and performers has through it's years been long time salsa dancer Petter Woxen, Nalini Løver, Vilde Fauchald, Norwegian champions Laurentiu Jisa, Stine Fjeld, international latin dancer Katrin Lerner, tap dancer Iselin Ruiz, professional ballerina Emmeline Jansen and more.

Their appearances includes Nordic salsa congress 2015/2016, Hot Salsa Weekend (Stockholm) 2015-2018, Ahi Na Ma Salsa Festival (Brussels) 2016, Latin Festival, (Stuttgart) 2017, Antalya Latin Fest. (Antalya) 2017, Salsafestival Bodensee 2019, Cosmopolite Scene 2018/2019, Gothenburg salsa workshop 2018 (Dance Vida), Mambo revolution Stockholm 2018 and more. 

Iselin Ruiz

Iselin started dancing when she was 4 years old. She’s been trained in everything from ballet, jazz, hiphop, salsa and house, but found her style and passion when she was 16 years old; Tap dance. She has been a student at schools like At tickle toes steppdansskole, Circle - Det norske hiphop huset, Subsdans, Salsakompaniet, Fagerborg vgs and Subjazz. She became a member of Oslo Tap Crew (oslo steppdanskompani) in 2012 and performed on regular basis with the company when it was active.


In 2019 she started Allure Tap company, who has become a leading tap dance- and jazz company in Norway. With and without her company she has several times performed at "Oslo jazzdansfestival" and also been a part of the expert panel discussingand lecturing in dance history. She has also had the opportunity to teach, jam and dance at different places all over the world.

 She is co-funder and speaker of the initiative "Tap Talk" (FB @TapTalkLive) together with Andrew Nemr & Estefania Porqueras (2020).
She has also been in different tv-commercials and performances. Currently she’s working on different projects in Oslo, teaching tap at several schools like NSKI høyskole, Det norske teateret, Norsk ballettinstitutt, Tickle Toes, Musikkteaterforum, Lillestrøm Kulturskole and more. She is now the proud owner and director of Tickle toes tap dance school. The school was founded by her mentor Kjersti Evensen in 2002, and Iselin is happy to continue to bring forward the legacy of the school and its importance in the Norwegian dance community. Tickle Toes has been integrated in Alexis and Iselin's school: A-custica Performing Arts (Mambo & Tap dance).

In january 2015 Iselin started Oslo’s first Tap festival, Tap Oslo, together with Ludovico Hombravella Suarez. This has been an important event to gather the community in Oslo and Scandinavia. Bringing all types of dancers from all over the country and from different schools to celebrate what we all love. Tap Oslo has proudly all years been supported by the Norwegian art council and FFUK.

The last years she has dived into her Mambo career and had the opportunity to learn from, teach and dance with her husband Alexis Ruiz. Performances and teaching include among others Bodensee salsa festival, Funky Mambo London,DAN'S London, Mambo revolution stockholm, Salsa stockholm, Stockholm Salsa dance and more. They will also be seen together in June's jubileum of "Oslo Jazzdansfestival '' where they will show their piece "Roots intertwined", a rhythmical dive into the latin and american roots of dance and music.

Magda Prichodko

Magda took her first ballet class at the age of 7. From then on she has never given up dancing. She has dancing background in ballet, jazz, disco dance, acrobatics, hip hop, contact-improvisation, latin and swing. In 2005 Together with the Polish disco dance group V2 she took 4th place in  World Disco Dance Championship. The same year she accidentally dropped by a salsa club in Warsaw and fell in love with salsa at once. Six months later she joined Salsa Libre team, becoming performer and salsa teacher. Together with Salsa Libre she has performed on many stages in Poland and abroad. In January 2009 she accepted the invitation of the biggest Norwegian latin school Salsa Kompaniet and moved to Oslo. She has been teaching and performing with such names as Jazzy Ruiz, Alexis Ruiz and Luis Vazquez. During those years she has established her position of leading female salsa artist in Scandinavia and one of the best in Europe. Her dancing, teaching and performing skills were recognized as well in Asia (Japan, India), where together with her dance partner she held workshops and performances. From 2011 she has worked as pedagog and choreographer for Bårdar Akademiet, and featured Norwegian TV shows "Stjernekamp" and "Alt er lov".  In 2017 she moved to Trondheim to take position of head instructor in SalsaNor. She choreographs and coaches several dance teams in Norway (including Groovin Dance Company, Groovi’n’Heels and SalsaNor Student Teams). She travels internationally for dance workshops, dance choreography bootcamps and performances. She is known for her unique expressive dance style, musicality and social dance skills. She enjoys dancing latin dances, swing as well as jazz and contact-improvisation. But social dancing remains always her greatest love, bringing joy of connection and improvisation on the dance floor. 

Iris Reder

Iris Reder is a professional dancer who graduated from The Norwegian College of Dance in 2014, with a bachelor degree in dance and pedagogy. She majored in jazz dance, but also studied other techniques such as ballet and modern dance. Iris has experience from teaching ballet, musical, show jazz, lyrical jazz, latin jazz, street dance, salsa all levels, lady styling and bachata. She started working, teaching and performing with Jazzy Ruiz in March 2014. She had her international debut show at Hamburg Salsa festival 2014. In her profession as a dancer, Iris values musicality, a strong technical base and an artistic expression that reflects her sharpness, elegance and versatility. Today Iris is working at Salsa Kompaniet in Oslo, teaching lady styling, salsa and bachata.

Lisa Ask

The dancer Lisa Ask recently moved from Barcelona to Oslo. In Barcelona ​​she has worked as a dancer and instructor over the past two years. Previously she had a long career in dance in both Europe and Cuba. Lisa has a major in African-Cuban and rumba and has danced in several dance companies, including Salsera in Sweden, Latin Angeles Barcelona, ​​Salsa del Barrio Barcelona and finally she danced Afro-contemporary dances for Rogelio Lorda in Barcelona. Today Lisa is teaching at SalsaNor in Oslo and doing weekend festivals with her Cuban dance partner Danniel Rodriguez.

Martine Brænna

Martine is the owner and main instructor of RHYTHM Dance School, and is educated at the Opera Ballet School. She then attended the Oslo Academy of the Arts, where she received a bachelor's degree in jazz, and the Broadway Dance Center in New York. She is world champion and European champion in disco, European champion in jazz, and Norwegian champion in disco, freestyle, slow, show, jazz and modern. In recent years, Martine has worked with many different people both as a choreographer and dancer, including as a showgirl at the Moulin Rouge in Paris, the musical Cabaret at Oslo Nye Teater, various music videos, MGP, Stjernekamp, ​​De Neste and the musical Grease in Trondheim. She has also taught at several schools such as the Oslo Academy of the Arts, Bårdar, Edvard munch, Art and Studio 1. Today she works mainly for the company Show de Vida, where she is the main dancer and dance captain. Martine has a distinctive style when she teaches, with a lot of focus on dance joy, technique and movement quality.

Aliochy Aragon

Aliochy is the owner and founder of RHYTHM Dance School - where he is the General Manager and head instructor. He has many years of experience in the industry, both as a dancer and instructor. He has a bachelor's degree in dance and pedagogy from the Norwegian Dance Academy, and is a former soloist in the Cuban cabaret company Wilfredo Figueredo. He was also a soloist in the tabanka crew, which is Scandinavia's largest company focusing on African and Caribbean dance. Today he works for the company Show de Vida, both as Artistic Director and lead dancer. They tour around Norway and Europe and do performances. Aliochy has previously danced on major stages such as Den Norske Opera, Dansens Hus and Riksscenen, as well as participated in TV Programs such as MGP, Stjernekamp, ​​Skal Vi Danse, God Morgen Norge, Allsang etc. He has also worked with some of the best dancers in the world, such as Yoel Carreno and Osiel Gouneo. Aliochy has a unique way of teaching, with lots of energy, dancing joy and endurance training. He creates a fantastic atmosphere where he brings his Cuban culture and charisma with him. He has previously taught at Latin room and dancecity, and started up Cuban salsa at the salsa company.

Miguel Carrazana

Miguel is the owner and main instructor of RHYTHM Dance School. He has many years of experience as both a dancer and an instructor. He has a bachelor's degree in dance and pedagogy from the Norwegian Dance Academy, and is a former soloist in the Cuban cabaret company Wilfredo Figueredo. He was also part of the Tabanka Crew for several years, which is the largest company in Scandinavia that focuses on African and Caribbean dance. Today he works for the company Show de Vida as Performance Manager and main dancer, where he tours around Norway and Europe and holds performances. Miguel has previously danced on big stages such as Den Norske Opera, Dansens Hus and Riksscenen, as well as participated in TV Programs such as MGP, Stjernekamp, ​​Skal Vi Danse, God Morgen Norge, Allsang etc. Miguel uses his fantastic technique and special style in teaching, and is guaranteed to give you a good mood, desire to dance and quality of movement.

Laurentiu & Stine

They are the Norwegian Champions in professional class Salsa 2018/2019, and the same years they were representing Norway in the World Championships. Their dance journey together started in 2016 with Salsa on2/mambo. Later on, they fell in love with Bachata as well, learning from the creators of Bachata Sensual, Korke & Judith. They have the Teachers Course Certificate in Salsa on2 from Adolfo Indacochea, and are among the few in Norway that start teaching Salsa on2 from beginner level. The last years, Laurentiu&Stine have been teaching and performing dance shows in different cities in around in Norway and abroad, and they have been teaching weekly classes in Salsa on2 and Bachata Sensual in Oslo. Laurentiu&Stine both grew up having dance as a major influence in their lives, and they both have varied, high level experience in multiple dance styles, Salsa, Bachata, Folk dance, Classical ballet, Jazz and Contemporary dance amongst them. Laurentiu&Stine are the founders of Oslo Dance Company, a dance school in the heart of Oslo, offering a variety of dance styles, high quality teaching and a positive family atmosphere! Ricardo Ferreira

Portuguese living in Oslo, he represents Dance In Norway, and will teach you leading and following in Kizomba-Semba. He is a dancer, a teacher and a kind guy.

As a Dancer his extent and diversified experience contributes to a mature expression and a conscientious relation to the movement and connection. He loves the Latin fire and the African connection of the Salsa-Bachata-kizomba. He choreographs and dances on the Semba Show Team - the only kizomba group in Norway performing shows (since 2020).

As a Dance Instructor, he has taught since 2005 the well known Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba-Semba, and other less know afro-latin styles. Mostly in Portugal, but also in Spain, UK, Poland and Norway; in the US in San Francisco and Los Angeles; in Africa in Zambia. Teacher by vocation, started in 2019 the Dance In Norway - his company taking dance events all over the country. Great references and feed-back from students are always good signs. Expect nothing less than great classes.

As a Person, Ricardo is a kind guy. One that does not need to shine, comfortable with a simple talk and a laughs, and glad to help others.

Theodore Awadzi

Theodore Wolashie Awadzi aka Theo is the founder of KizombaTk a branch of Dancation Dance UK. He is both the IDO UK kizomba Champion for 2012 as well as the UKA salsa champion 2012 which was held in Bolton. Born in the West African Country of Ghana, Theo has come from a background of dance and choreography. Theo’s dancing and teaching has earned him fame and recognition across the UK and abroad. His excellent teaching style has resulted in him travelling all around the UK as well as Europe teaching and carrying out workshops. He has an extensive background of teaching semba, kuduru, kizomba, azonto as well as may Latin forms of dance . His unique teaching style is always full of fun and energy. His teaching technique is fun based concentrating on footwork and then steadily progressing into the body motion, partner work and styling for both partners. Dancing is his way of Life and this is evident in his classes as everyone leaves with a feeling of self-accomplishment.

Steeve Oagi

Steeve was born and educated in Paris. He has an African background where he learnt to appreciate a wide variety of music and dance from an early age.

In 2007 he started to dance Salsa in several night clubs around London – his life would never be the same again. After he moved to Copenhagen in 2009 he decided to dedicate all his time to dancing. Passionately, he rapidly grew in the dance scene and started to teach and hold events in Copenhagen after only a few months.

Steeve has studied Salsa, Bachata, Cha-cha, Afro-Cuban in different studios around the world. Today he is still continuing on this incredible journey! Steeve has been based in Oslo, Norway since 2013 where he currently teaches  Salsa, Bachata & Cha Cha Cha at Salsakompaniet.

Nalini Løver

Nalini fell in love with salsa dancing when she was living in Ecuador and has never stopped since she took her first basic steps in 2009. She has experience from different styles within the latin american dances but her heart is with mambo. She works at Salsakompaniet as an Instructor and dancer, she is a member of Royal Tumbao Mambo Dancer and Royal Tumbao Bachata Dancers as well as leading her own ladies group Las Despeinadas.

Dixie Cardenas

Dixie is a dancer, performer and teacher. She danced ballet for 6 years in her childhood, and has always loved trying new dance styles ever since. She has danced styles such as jazzballett, tango, hip hop, reggaeton, heels and more. She started dancing salsa in 2002 in Kristiansand and fell in love with the dance. She was a teacher at Kristiansand Salsaklubb, and later at SalsaSi Dance School in Kristiansand. She then moved to Oslo in 2015, and is now a part of Royal Tumbao Mambo Dancers, Vyara Dance Project and Las Despeinadas. She teaches salsa at Salsakompaniet.

Maité Myking

After having completed a 4-year study in dance teaching and choreography Maité E. Tomasen joined the professional dance company JJ in Havana, Cuba. She specialized in traditional Cuban dance and afro cuban dances and is a very inspiring teacher. Last time she visited Nordic Salsa Experience in 2017, she was a great success and we are happy to present her classes again this year.

Bernt Rygg

Bernt Rygg is a very experienced instructor specializing in Rueda de Casino. He has almost 20 years of teaching experience from Danseglede and SalsaNor in Norway, as well as numerous Rueda congresses around the world. He has also been a core resource in developing av Norwegian Rueda standard www.ruedastandard.no and been strongly involved organizing SalsaNor’s yearly Rueda congress www.ruedakongressen.com for more than ten years. Bernt has been teaching Rueda de Casino at the Nordic Salsa Experience for more than ten years and always deliver top Rueda classes and a great experience for the participants.
